Rune Garborg played a key role in building Vipps within DNB, Norway’s largest bank, in 2015. He was the first CEO of Vipps and is now the CEO of Vipps MobilePay. With 12 million users, 400.000 merchants and transactions exceeding 1.3 billion a year, Vipps MobilePay ranks among the largest wallet companies in Europe. The company is on a mission to build a strong Nordic alternative to international tech giants.
