Øyvind Westby Brekke is the CEO of BankID, Norway’s leading digital identity and payment platform, used by millions for secure authentication and transactions. A seasoned executive with a proven track record in financial services, healthcare, and oil & gas, he brings expertise in strategy, digital transformation, M&A, fintech, and corporate finance. He has held leadership roles in both SMEs and large corporations, including serving as founder and CEO of a listed company. With an MSc in Chemical Engineering from NTNU and UC Berkeley, Øyvind combines technical insight with strategic vision to drive innovation and transformation across industries.
