Øyvind Thomassen was part of the team that founded Skandiabanken, later known as Sbanken, in 1999. It quickly became a challenger in the Norwegian market as a pure online bank without branches. Since then, Øyvind has been a prominent financial leader in Norway, and for several years, also in Sweden as a leader in the Skandia Group and Blue Step. In 2019, he returned "home" to Sbanken. After the merger between Sbanken and DNB in 2023, Øyvind now leads the work with digital sales across the DNB and Sbanken brands. Øyvind maintains his relentless customer focus and thrives best in an environment with a lot of openness and just the right amount of madness.
