Ronny is a senior advisor in DigDir, where his recent background starts with working on and writing the legal acts of the EU digital Wallet, pivoting to setting up a pilot, getting funding, running the technical work and until recently managing the entire effort. He has over 25 years of experience in the fields of payments, identity, and open finance. He also has a deep domain and technical knowledge of these areas, as well as a strong regulatory and political understanding. Ronny has a proven track record of leading innovation and execution in identity solutions and payments, biometric authentication, and IAM. He was also involved in international standardization as a national delegate for ISO TC 68/SC 2 and TC 307/WG 4, focusing on biometrics for banking and customer identification.
